Though the classic 1960's S-Type has historically gotten most of the attention, Jaguar's revival of their S-Type line from 1999 to 2008 should not be overlooked. As a Mid-Size Executive Car, the S-Type offers incredible value for its price, especially considering the fact that it's backed by the prestige of the Jaguar brand. In addition to being quite affordable right now in the marketplace, the S-Type includes a variety of beneficial features.

Featuring highly-stylish designs that are available in multiple color schemes, as well as detailed and luxurious interiors, the S-Type contains Jaguar's elegant and luxurious look that's immediately apparent upon viewing it. Unlike many other luxury sedans that are available, the Jaguar S-Type contains classic 1960s elements in its design, which provides it with quite a distinguishable appearance. As a four-door sedan, its interior contains Jaguar's signature wood trim and leather. In addition, it offers a variety of luxury options, including built-in GPS navigation systems, many of which come standard.

Its sophisticated appearance is backed up by its feel on the road. You'll immediately notice its power and smooth drive, as it feels sharp and stable on turns. Offering V6 and V8 options, models can contain up to 400 horsepower.

The S-Type R addition to the line is capable of going from 0-60 mph in just 5.3 seconds. Additionally, the S-Type R contains larger disc brakes, 18 to 19-inch wheels, and an adjustable sport-tuned suspension system. The Jaguar S-Type is a fine addition to the Jaguar brand, and its combination of styling and features makes it a great value. Both the older and later models of the S-Type are all recommended, as they have a certain uniqueness to them that is rare in today's line of luxury sedans.
